Frequently Asked Questions
How do I register to Bid?
Click on the top right corner of the page where it says, “Register to Bid.” You will then have a 3-step registration process to fill out in order to receive a bidder number. ALL STEPS must be complete in order to be able to bid. Once all the steps are completed, you will then receive an email with your bidder number. Make sure to remember that number as that will be the number you will use when picking up your items.
How long will it take to be approved for bidding?
We try our best to approve them right away, but sometimes that isn’t always the case, and it may take up to, but no longer, 6 hours before being approved.
Why do I need to put in my credit card in order to register to bid?
The reason we ask for a credit card on file is if you are unable to pick up your items on the scheduled day of pickup. the credit card on file is what we would charge. We then hold your items for 7 days and schedule a day for you to pick up those items within that 7-day time frame. We do this to protect ourselves and our small business from people not paying for the items that they bid on. Your card will NEVER be charged, NOT EVEN A DOLLAR unless you are unable to make it the scheduled day of pick up.
How do I know that this is a secure network when entering in my credit card information?
In relation to the secureness of your credit card information, the card processing company we use is FULLSTEAM (click link in order to read more about them) and they adhere to the strictest standards that the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards can offer and is a Level 1 PCI certified Payment Processor that scans monthly and renews this certification yearly with an independent 3rd party. An Attestation of Compliance (AOC) is attached for further comfort. In other words, your Card Data is as secure as it gets, and FULLSTEAM has proof to that fact. To read more information their report can be found HERE.
I’m trying to register to bid and it won’t accept my credit / debit card. Why?
The debit card needs to be a Mastercard or Visa debit card. It will not let you register a card that is strictly just through your bank.
Check to make sure that all credit / debit card information is entered in correctly including, card number, expiration date, and CVV number. If ANY of those are typed incorrectly it will not allow you to register.
